Dube City is an emerging development in a prime location immediately adjacent to King Shaka International Airport and a network of major road routes, a green city in the making.

The project calls for the green building and urban design value engineering for the Dube Tradeport Top Structure at Block D. According to the Dube City – Support Precinct 1 scheme, the siteallows for a mix of land use including retail, hotel, office, parkade and voids. The Top Structure at Block D can serve as a benchmark for sustainability within the region while supporting mixed-use functionality for retail and office spaces.

The sustainability team members are requested to guide the team in accordance to achieving green building design attributes for the project, assess the potential business impact from implementation of each of the policies; and advising on an overall green strategy for the long-term infrastructure project.

This project is expected to finish in the first quarter of 2025.
